Milly lives in Bristol with her partner Alison and cat Buddy. She loves camping and playing the trumpet, and anything to do with science and space.

Questions and Answers with Milly
Q: What inspired you to start writing?
A: I wanted to write stories that I would have found exciting to read as a child. I had loads of ideas buzzing around in my head, and had to get them down on paper!
Q: Who is your favourite character to write?
A: I really enjoyed writing Jasper’s character in Sapec! He gets easily flustered and is often unpredictable, he’s a lot of fun to write.
Q: Which books did you like reading as a child?
A: I’ve always really liked adventure stories, especially ones that have a fantasy or sci-fi theme. One of my favourite books growing up was Seaward by Susan Cooper.
Q: Do you believe in aliens?
A: Absolutely! I definitely don’t think we’re alone in the universe. Space is so immense, there’s so much for humans to explore and discover in the future. I’d love to meet an alien one day!
Q: What’s next?
A: Well I’m busy publicising Sapec! at the moment, as I’d really like it to be enjoyed by as many young readers out there as possible. I’ve also made a start on writing the sequel to Sapec! and second book in the Zharo series, so watch this space…
